Steps to Make Veg Manchurian….
Veg Manchurian is a Chinese dish but everyone in India loves it. Its the most common starter everyone used to order. Some likes to have it with gravy and some likes to have it without gravy.
You can have veg manchurian either with veg/schezwan fried rice or schezwan/hakka noodles.
I used to add ginger-garlic-chilly paste while making manchurian balls. So if you guys also likes ginger-garlic-chilly flavour , you can also add it.
- Cabbage- 2 cups (grated)
- Carrot-1 cup (grated)
- Capsicum- 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Maida – 3 tbsp
- Corn flour – 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Onion- 1 medium sized (cut into cubes)
- Water- ¾ cup
- Green onion- 1 (chopped, only the green part)
- Garlic- 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Ginger- 1 tsp (julienned)
- Green chillies- 3 (chopped)
- Tomato sauce- 6 tbsp
- Green chilli sauce- 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce- 1 tsp
- Vinegar- 1 tsp
- Corn flour- 1 tbsp
Step by Step Instructions
Put grated cabbage and carrot in a bowl.
Add maida, corn flour, ginger garlic paste and mix everything together..
Make small balls from this mixture and deep fry the balls in hot oil. Keep the flame medium while frying.
Place the deep fried manchurian balls on a tissue so that excess oil can be soaked on it..
Take a pan , add 2 tbsp of oil.Add finely chopped ginger and finely chopped garlic.Stir it.
Add 1 green chilli finely chopped and onion. Saute it.
Add vinegar, soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce .Mix everything together. Also add a pinch of salt.
If you want to have gravy manchurian. Take a bowl of water .Mix 1 tbsp of corn flour to it.
Add it to pan. then add manchurian balls.
Our veg manchurian is ready to serve .Garnish it with finely chopped spring onion greens.
