How to Make Dahi Gupchup

Dahi gupchup is one of the tastiest and easy to make snacks one can have. Some also call it dahi puri as well. It is one of the mouth watering snacks which is loved by everyone all over India.  You can customize its stuffing as per your need. Few adds sprouted moong dal in it , few used dates chutney instead of tamarind chutney. I prefer using dates chutney instead of tamarind chutney.

  • ½ cup curd

  • ½ cup tamarind chutney

  • ½ cup green chutney

  • 2-3 boiled potato

  • ½ cup finely chopped onion

  • ½ cup finely chopped coriander leaves

  • Black Salt as per taste

  • ½  tbsp red chilli powder

  • ½ tbsp jeera powder

  • ½ cup pomegranate

  • ½ cup fine sev ( barik sev)

  • 15-20 gupchups

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Take a bowl. Add boiled mashed potato , chopped onion , salt , red chilly powder , jeera powder and 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves.

Step 2

Mix it well. Also take a bowl , put curd in it and then beat it so that no lumps will be there. And then add water and salt as per your need.

Step 3

Take a plate, put 10-15 gupchups. Make a hole in all the gupchup so that you can put the potato mixture in it.

Step 4

Put ½ tbsp potato mixture in all the gupchup. Pour a little bit of curd on it and then sweet tamarind chutney and green chutney.

Step 5

Sprinkle pomegranate , barik sev and coriander leaves on it. Serve it now.
