Steps to Make Sabudana Khichdi….

Sabudana Khichdi is one of the favourite fasting dish one like to have. Without keeping fast also , everyone likes to have it … You can also call it Sago Rice Khichdi. There is nothing new I can tell you about sabudana khichdi. So I would like to tell you about my incidents related to it.

Few years back , when I was in Bangalore I went to one of the super market and asked the sales girl for sabudana , she didn’t know what is it and I don’t know the other word for it. After searching alot everywhere I got the packet where it was mention sago rice.

When I was a kid , I used to keep fast only to have sabudana khichdi all day. Still I love to have sabudana khichdi made by my mom. For me , she prepare the best sabudana khichdi. Even I tried alot to prepare like her but everytime I failed.

I think for every girl , her mother’s food is the best one. Now I am married but whenever I go back to my maternal home I give a huge list to my mom what I want to have made by her only. Lol , honestly I don’t know about boys.. Whether they feel the same thing or not.

Note: If you do not want sabudana to be sticky , keep the level of the water same as sabudana. And once sabudana is puffed up , you can try keeping the container in the fridge.
