Steps to Make Rawa Matar Pancake…..

If you are looking for an easy suji/rawa dish/recipe then you are at right place.. Here it goes.. Rawa Matar Pancake is one of the healthiest and tastiest pancake one can have. It’s one of the easiest suji/rawa recipe to make.  

You can serve it with spicy chutney or sauce. If you like cheese , either you can put a small cheese slice with matar tikki or grate cheese once pancake is cooked and cover lid on it for 2 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup suji/rawa

  • ½ cup curd

  • ½ cup water

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1 cup peas/matar

  • 1 cup chopped onion

  • 1 ½  tbsp ginger garlic green chilli paste

  • 1 tsp jeera

  • 1 ½  tbsp ginger garlic green chilli paste

  • ½ tsp red chilli powder

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • Oil for frying pancake and stuffing

  • ½ tsp coriander powder

  • ½ tsp dry mango powder

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Take a bowl . Put suji,curd and water. Mix it properly and keep aside for 15-20 min.

Step 2

Take a pan. Put oil. Once oil is heated up , add jeera , garlic ginger green chilli paste. Saute it properly.

Step 3

Add chopped onions. Saute it till it turns golden brown in color.Add peas and all spices.

Step 4

Add little bit of water and cover the pan with lid for 5-10 min . Check if peas is cooked properly or not.

Step 5

Once its cooked , keep it aside till it cool downs and then grin it in a mixer.

Take a small portion on mixture and make tikkis of it.

Step 7

Take the suji batter. Add salt and baking soda.

Step 8

Take a non stick tawa. Put little bit oil on it. Spread a small part of suji batter on it. Put a peas tikki on it and then spread more suji batter on it.

Step 9

Cook it on both sides. Serve it with sauce or chutney.
