How to Make Rawa Fingers
If you like crispy french fries then might be you will love to have rawa fingers as well. It’s crispy tasty and one of the delicious snack.
You can serve it with sauce or any green or tamarind chutney as well.
Whether it be kid or adults , everyone will like to have it any time.
It’s easier to cook.
If you have air fryer at your home then its one of the healthiest and tastiest dish as it will not take much oil for frying.
Note :You can add finely chopped onions as well to the mixture. It will give you a better taste for sure.
- 2 medium sized potatoes (boiled ,peeled and mashed)
- 1/4 cup medium rava or upma rava
- 3-4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp grinded ginger
- 1 green chilli finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- salt as per taste
- 1/4 cup water
- Oil for deep frying
Step by Step Instructions
Boil 1/4 cup of water along with 1 tsp of oil.
Add in rava. Give a quick stir so that no lumps form and switch off the gas.
Add mashed potatoes,coriander leaves and green chillies.
Add grated/grinded ginger. Also add salt and cumin powder.
Mix it properly so that no lumps forms.
Grease your fingers. Take a small portion of mixture and prepare the sticks
Now heat the oil in a deep frying pan and drop the potato sticks in to the hot oil.
Flip and fry them under high-medium flame till it turns to light golden brown colour.
Serve the fried aloo rava fingers with tomato sauce or chutney
