How to Make Rajma ke Kabab

Kabab is all time favourite of everyone whether it can be hara bhara kabab or rajma kabab. Rajma Kabab is very tasty and flavouful. It is very rich in protien. It is especially liked by kids.

You can serve it with any kind of chutney or sauce. 

Note :

Soak kidney beans overnight and boil it in a pressure cook for at least 25-30 whistles so that it becomes soft and mash properly.Also while boiling add 1tsp salt as well. Once it is boiled properly , rinse out the water and mash it.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiled and mashed kidney beans
  • 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 3-4 tbsp ginger garlic and green chilly paste
  • 4-5 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp corriander powder
  • oil for frying
  • 2-3 tbsp besan or all purpose flour

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Mix mashed kidney beans and potatoes properly.

Step 2

Add chopped onions and giner garlic and green chilly paste to it.

Step 3

Add salt , red chilly powder and corriander powder.

Step 4

Add coriander leaves. Mix it properly.

Step 5

Add besan or all purpose flour for binding the mixture properly.

Step 6

Put pan on flame with 3 tbsp of oil. Heat it .

Step 7

Make the patty of the mixture. Once the oil is hot , put the patty in it.

Step 8

Fry the patty till it turns golden brown in colour from both the side.

Step 9

Serve it hot with sauce or chutney.
