How to Make Healthy Puri with fenugreek and beetroot

In our Indian houses, puri is something which is prepared in every house as something special or when someone is celebrating something. So this time I tried to make puri but in a different way which my kid probably likes may be due to colour. But her liking it has benefitted me as it is healthy as it has fenugreek and beetroot

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup cleaned and chopped fenugreek leaves

  • ½ cup chopped beetroot

  • Salt as per taste

  • 4 green chillies

  • 2-4 garlic cloves

  • 2-3 cup wheat flour

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Make a paste of 2 green chillies , fenugreek leaves and 2-3 cloves of garlic.

Step 2

Once the paste is done , take a bowl. Put fenugreek leaves paste and add wheat flour as much needed to make a tight dough.

Step 3

Now, make a paste of 2 green chillies , beetroot and 1-2 cloves of garlic together.

Step 4

Once the paste is done, take a bowl. Put the paste and add wheat flour as much as needed to make a dough.

Step 5

Take a small ball from fenugreek dough and a small ball from beetroot dough. Join it and make a flatbread of it.

Step 6

Take a kadai , put oil in it. Heat it to a temperature that a puri can fry in it.

Step 7

Once oil is heated up , put puris in it. Serve puri with pickles.
