How to Make Chick Pea Balls/Falafel Balls

Chick Pea Balls are also known as Falafel Balls. It is one of the Asian dish which is a healthy one. 

You can have it either with any dip or sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chick peas ( overnight soaked)
  • 2-3 tsp ginger-garlic-chilly paste
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 4-5 tbsp wheat or all purpose flour
  • oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup corriander leaves

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Grind overnight soaked chick peas properly

Step 2

Mix grinded chick peas,corriander leaves , ginger-garlic-chilly paste, salt , red chilly paste , corriander powder & chopped onions.

Step 3

Add flour as required so that chick pea balls can be made.

Step 4

Once all are mixed properly, take small part to make a lemon sized balls.

Step 5

Heat oil in a pan. Once it is heated up properly , deep fry chick pea balls till it turns golden brown.
