How to Make Chawal ke Fare

Farra or Fara is one of the famous chhattisgarhi dishes which is made of rice flour and cooked rice. It is somewhat similar to one of the asian dishes named rice fingers. The only difference is rice fingers are just boiled whereas fara/farra is sauted as well. You can serve it with different types of chutney or sauces.

I would prefer it with either tomato chutney or coriander chutney. You can make it in just 20 min and it just tastes awesome. Most importantly , it is healthy as well. It requires very less oil in it for saute.

You can even use the previous night cooked rice as well. It will surely utilize the leftover rice and will be a great snack for your kids
