Steps to Make Eggless Banana Cake Without Oven….
Most of the special occasion, we think to make something sweet as well. And for sweet tooth people, sweet is must every time. They basically crave for sweet too much. And when this lockdown was going on all stores and shops were closed, so people who don’t like much sweet also want to have it. So this time for my family I thought of making a banana cake that too eggless because my mother-in-law never have eggs and she is too fond of sweet dishes.
So here is the recipe to make a banana cake – eggless and without oven.
- If you want to bake a cake in the oven, preheat it for 10 min at 180° C. And then put the greased container with batter for 20-30 min.
- Also, you can add nuts(almond, cashews and raisins) to it as well.
- 1.5 cup Maida/Whole Wheat
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- ½ cup Oil
- 3/4th cup Sugar
- 2 bananas
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
Step by Step Instructions
Take a bowl. Add milk and vinegar. Mix it well and keep it aside.
Take a grinder. Put bananas and sugar in it. Grind it to have a mixture. Pour in a bowl. Add oil. Mix it well.
Take a siever. Put maida/whole wheat, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder. Sieve it well and then mix it till it has no lumps.
Take a deep flat surface container. Grease it properly with oil first and then sprinkle whole wheat to reduce the sticky effect of cake. Put batter in the greased container.
Take a deep end frying pan. Heat it in high flame for 10-15 min. Put the greased container in the deep end frying pan for 45 min. Cover it with lid as well. Also, keep the flame low.
After 45 min, insert the knife at the corner to check whether a cake is baked properly. If the knife comes out clean then the cake is baked. And if batter sticks to it then you need to bake it for more 5-10 min. Also, you can try checking this knife procedure for 2-3 times.
Once the cake is baked and cools down, cover it with another plate and takes out the cake.
